Position Summary:
As a Junior Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role supporting the Account Advancement Group’s continuous growth motion by helping realize user value acquisition and delivering operational capability across all user segments. Your tasks will include executing and measuring programs that address user and colleague issues and driving growth. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to validate program performance will be important, where an Outward-Mindset is an essential asset. Attention to detail and data use will help you make decisions and track progress. You will monitor various program portfolios, ensuring targets are met, quality is upheld, and opportunities for improvement are identified and addressed with the Program Development Manager.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Program Execution. Ensure program plans and schedules are maintained.
  • Stakeholder Engagement. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including users, team members, account teams, and senior leadership. Manage expectations and provide regular updates on program status.
  • Risk Management. Identify potential risks and identify potential mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance. Ensure projects and/or programs meet defined standards and deliverables and are of high quality. Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes.
  • Reporting and Documentation. Maintain accurate program documentation and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and QBR periods. Ensure all program information is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Performance Monitoring. Monitor program progress to ensure that milestones are met, and strengths and weaknesses visibility is maintained.
  • Coordination and Management. Partner with project managers and wider teams to ensure goals are met.
  • Foster a culture of “One Bentley”. Contribute to a network of program and project management practitioners both within their team and in other organizations across Bentley to share best practices and insights.
  • This is a full-time individual contributor role, which involves significant collaboration and coordination with peers, leadership, and other colleagues.

 

What You Bring to The Team: 

  • 2+ years of proven experience with Program Management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry experience preferred but not required, such as:
    • Architect, Engineering, and/or Construction industry
    • Operations in Process Manufacturing industry (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, Paper)
    • Mining, Civil (Road or Rail Transportation, Complex Buildings, and Campuses)
  • Experience working in the software industry is required, where experience with Bentley or other related industry software is an advantage.
  • Accountability. You are a natural leader and thrive on the responsibility associated with the total ownership and control of your program outcomes.
  • Creativity. Ability to facilitate solutions to program risk and influence positive outcomes using critical thinking and data-driven approaches.
  • Strong Communicator. Ability to work and communicate at all levels within an organization using strong written and oral English communication skills, including delivering professional presentations and workshop facilitation. Fluency in additional languages is an added advantage.
  • Stakeholder Leadership. Strong capability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels to inspire and secure invested program teams, which enables successful program development results.
  • Data-Driven Approach. You bring solid analytical and reporting skills to help define and measure program capability and delivered impact.
  • Curiosity. Your inquisitive mind challenges the ‘status quo’ and enjoys the thrill of finding solutions to the problems you uncover as you strive for continuous improvement.
  • Agile Mindset. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively while managing multiple program development tasks and stakeholder groups.
