Location: Lithuania, Kaunas and Vilnius (Hybrid)

Position Summary:
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Software Engineer I to join our Digital Experience team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of our licensing solutions, including a Windows desktop client API/SDK, a matching Windows service, and a cross-platform C++ client that runs on multiple architectures. Responsibilities:

• Develop & Implement (40%): Use modern development tools to build high-quality software products based on design specifications.
• Test & Validate (15%): Conduct unit testing and support our certification team to ensure software reliability.
• Maintain & Support (10%): Help maintain existing codebases and assist our support team with technical issues.
• Collaborate Globally (10%): Work independently and with global teams to enhance our cloud-based engineering collaboration platform.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve (10%): Proactively diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth user experiences.
• Learn & Innovate (15%): Explore new technologies, conduct research, and continuously expand your technical knowledge.
• Own Your Work: Take full ownership of the features you build and the designs you implement.
• Contribute to Team Culture: Provide and receive constructive feedback, and help maintain backward compatibility in all updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in software development or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and proficiency in C++. (Candidates with strong C# or TypeScript skills who are eager to learn C++ are welcome!)
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Proactive, results-driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated problem solver who knows when to ask for help.
• Quick learner with a passion for applying new technologies in real-world scenarios.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience building enterprise systems using Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with technologies like SQLite, C++/CLI, WPF, XAML, COM, Windows APIs, and Registries.
• Knowledge of Git and distributed version control systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, SCRUM, and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to Azure REST APIs and Azure Services SDKs.
