About CohesiveAP:

 

As a Bentley company, Cohesive Companies focuses on providing Professional Services related to Bentley’s suite of software products, amongst others. CohesiveAP in that context focuses on Asset Performance applications, specifically on Asset Lifecycle Information Management (ALIM), Linear Analytics (LA), Asset Reliability (AR) and 4DAnalytics (4DA).

 

Position Summary:

 

The Consultant AssetWise participates in projects for implementing, supporting and sustaining AssetWise applications and solutions build with the above mentioned products.

 

Tasks include but are not limited to Requirements Capture, Solution Design and Build, Asset Data Analysis and Migration (sometimes using tools like SSIS), Reporting through embedded API’s or using tools like SSRS and PowerBI, Extraction, Bulk Loading and scripting to create specific functionality not provided by core product, and training and hand-holding of administrators and end-users.

 

The ideal candidate will have education in and proven experience with Engineering Information Management, good understanding of concepts like document management/control, asset/tag management, requirements management, linear as well as point assets, having worked in the transportation sector (most notably rail and/or roads), or oil/gas/chemical.

 

Added to this experience with database technology, interpretation of datamodels / data dictionaries, ability to use tools like SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI.

 

Interests in or experience with machine learning and big-data-analysis is an added value.

 

Ease of communication in English including good presentation skills, deep knowledge of database management systems, scripting using various languages and tools, pro-activeness, high level of independency coupled with a good recognition on when and where to ask for assistance, complete the profile.

Your Day-to-Day:

 

The Consultant AssetWise typically works in a team led by a Project Manager, together with Solution Architects, Implementation Consultants, Testers and Trainers. Occasionally a direct communication line to Product Management is established to enable feedback on product capabilities and performance, and for having conversations on the product roadmap.

 

Nearly every implementation project includes a data migration task, to include legacy data into the new solution. Work consists of analyzing source data, mapping to the new datamodel, create and run migration scripts, provide feedback to our user on data requiring cleaning, creating and running reconciliation reports. Where possible and agreed the scripts will include intelligence to not only validate but also transform data before loading.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

 

  • Degree on BSc level or equivalent experience
  • Pro-active attitude when discussing approach, analyzing and documenting requirements, develop creative ideas
  • Ability to facilitate workshops in-person and remote
  • Engage with end-users to collect full requirements, not accepting ambiguous responses but make the effort to get the true pain-points to the surface
  • Able to conduct training, in person and remote, ensuring all training participants get value out of the session
  • Ability to look beyond the demand of the day, but signal deeper requirements and assist with developing such opportunities for additional services
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience with engineering data, document management and asset data management including linear assets, is a must
  • Good skills in verbal and written communication in English, any additional language skill is a plus

Please note if you are employed full-time salary for this position ranges from 3200 EUR gross (before taxes).
