Position Summary:
As a Senior Regional Director of Enterprise and Global Accounts, you will be responsible for leading and scaling a talented team of Account Managers for the Nordics region to help drive the overall revenue growth of Bentley Systems and improve user engagement. Responsibilities will include managing, leading, and helping your team close strategic Bentley opportunities within the region. The successful candidate will be a sales specialist manager with 10+ years of value and outcome-based sales experience who possesses excellent organizational, communication, and selling skills. This role will aim to improve current sales objectives and help develop new sales strategies by leveraging metrics and analyzing trends in the business to grow Bentley’s customer base and exceed quota for the Nordics region.

 

Your Day-to-Day:  

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for the region.
  • Engage with complementary Bentley teams across subsidiary business development and solution areas to identify, drive, and unlock value within our largest accounts.
  • Responsibility for the strategic growth of your account base and the sales team, and also enable the team to drive complex deal transactions with revenue accountability.
  • Drive overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for pipeline management, and report on all aspects of the business to senior sales management.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain diverse world-class industry-aligned and outcome-driven business transformation sellers within the organization.
  • Be a role model for the team by setting the tone on leadership and Bentley Systems culture and values, act with integrity, and be accountable to deliver business results with high levels of sales discipline and business forecast accuracy.
  • Coach the team by clearly defining strategy, team objectives, and outcomes, bringing clarity out of ambiguity, helping the team learn and adapt to ever-changing product innovation and customer business transformation needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and other relevant stakeholders to create, implement, and manage policies and procedures to effectively support the business.
  • Coaching, managing, and developing Account Managers, allowing them to grow, investing in their growth, and taking care of their needs, knowing their capabilities, and understanding their career goals.
  • Set and track individual sales targets and goals.

 

What You Bring to The Team: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent training or experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years proven experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams, ideally in the enterprise software solutions sector.
  • Proven team leadership skills, managing large teams through multiple management layers with creativity with a proactive approach to conflict resolution, mentoring, coaching, recognition, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated success in working with the Marketing, Product Teams, User Success, and other key internal stakeholders to achieve sales goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively communicate complex topics and provide feedback both face-to-face, on the phone, and via email to colleagues and users, as well as the ability to build relationships at multiple levels and cross-organizationally.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to deliver results in a matrixed organization.
  • Effective Project Management leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp the technical aspects of the business (i.e., deeply understanding the products and services to achieve and maximize sales results).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to adapt and evolve with changing priorities and business initiatives.
  • Very well disciplined and organized with a high level of personal integrity.
