The objective of Bentley Acceleration Initiatives is to incubate new businesses and augment existing ones using Bentley iTwin technologies. Bentley Acceleration Initiatives has incubated Digital Cities and Digital Towers by funding its development, seeking out technology partnerships and creating a comprehensive go-to-market strategy.


Our next step is to monetize these new digital integrator services to capture large emerging opportunities for enterprise integration and implementation for City and Tower digital twins.


Location: V-Connected or Office Based, France


Position Summary:

Bentley is looking for sales professionals with an appetite for closing sales in targeted accounts.


Sales Account Managers are responsible for identifying, maximising, and closing sales opportunities in our Digital Cities and Digital Tower businesses. This is a key position responsible for growing our User base and undertaking activities to develop and manage the Sales pipeline within the assigned region.


The role will report to the Regional Director, Acceleration Initiatives.


This position is critical to selling into markets where Bentley has created a new portfolio of products and solutions which create new business opportunities to pursue. This position is full-time with base salary plus uncapped commission


Your Day-to-Day:

  • Develop a strong appreciation and deep understanding of how to effectively present Bentley’s Differentiated Value Proposition (DVP) to targeted accounts
  • Researching potential prospects
  • Lead opportunity generation activities directly and with our partners within the designated region.
  • Recruit and drive attendance to various Bentley and Partner events
  • Effective follow up and management of sales leads per the Bentley Sales Process
  • Develop leads into qualified opportunities
  • Adhere to the Bentley Sales Process fully utilizing CRM as a daily sales tool and reporting system.
  • Sales related admin functions as directed by your assigned manager


What You Bring to The Team:

  • Minimum of 3 years successful sales experience in value led sales in either the Telecommunications or City markets.
  • Experience in prospecting, sales campaigns, email marketing, social media.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to effectively present face to face and virtually
  • Excellent collaboration skills with various internal teams.
  • Technically adept, self-motivated and driven by results.
