Position Summary:

 

Bentley Systems has exciting opportunities for Software Quality Assurance Analyst who is passionate about ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, reliable, and user‑focused software products. In this role, you will play an important part in validating the functionality, performance, and stability of industry‑leading solutions that help users solve mission‑critical problems.

The primary focus of this position is to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases and test scenarios for applications and services integrated with our cloud platform. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify defects, verify fixes, and support continuous quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with development/PM teams to understand new features and updates, develop test design of user scenarios, test cases and checklists.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, providing detailed information for the development team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Execute detailed manual tests to validate new features and ensure existing functionality remains intact. Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
  • Advocate for quality assurance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports on software quality, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and tools in quality assurance, integrating them into testing practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Set up and manage complex test environments, ensuring full alignment with project requirements and testing objectives.
  • Contribute to the automated testing strategy and drive continuous improvements to enhance test coverage, reliability, and efficiency.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM engineering discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Strong understanding of QA principles, methodologies, and techniques.
  • A strong sense of ownership for product quality, ensuring issues are identified early and resolved effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work beyond strict testing guidelines, including creating test cases and test plans even when requirements or acceptance criteria are incomplete or unclear.
  • Basic technical knowledge of test environment setup, including configuration, troubleshooting, and environment readiness checks.
  • Good communication skills in English.

Please note if you are employed full-time, the salary for this position ranges from 2600 EUR gross (before taxes-Lithuania) depending on knowledge and experience.
