Marketing/ Sr. Marketing Specialist

The Sr. Regional Marketing Specialist, Asia South (SEA and India), reporting to the Sr. Manager, Regional Marketing – Asia South, has two primary responsibilities. Timely execution of the corporate / regional Go-To-Market plan within an assigned geographic region Developing the incremental regional plan, in view of business priorities of the region. This includes the end-to-end program management of marketing mix in collaboration with Industry/ Product /Marketing Engagement Services across the sales territories within their assigned marketing region.

 

The individual will also focus on being a subject matter expert on digital marketing, marketing automation, engagement marketing and social media marketing. The job would require traveling of upto a week per month withing the South-east Asia and India regions.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Execute on the Go-To-Market plans and provide timely and accurate inputs into the Budget process (plan expenditure, forecast monthly expenditure, invoice, accrual and necessary prepayments).
  • Recommend, plan and execute local marketing tactics and offers with focus on generating leads, pipeline, revenue and ROI from marketing spend, as well as improving brand recognition of the Bentley brand and specific products where relevant.
  • Maintain an up to date Regional Programs schedule for the Go-to-Market strategy. This plan will involve the full use of the marketing mix including online and print advertising, events (third party, Bentley seminars and executive briefings), PR and social media.
  • Define and the social media strategy across the Asia-South region and drive within Saarc.
    • Execute by creating content or repurposing corporate social media content.
    • Raise the social and professional networking profile of the regional customer facing team members through appropriate training and communication
  • Support PR activity for the activities or events where agreed, working with the local PR agency and with Media Services to achieve agreed PR targets.
  • Support the execution of relevant (global) webinars including local promotion and follow-up
  • Use BI Dashboard and reports to communicate on performance of marketing programs and activity in a timely manner to Sales and Marketing stakeholders against agreed targets and performance metrics.
  • Ensure “activities”, leads and learning units from Bentley and third party events, are submitted for processing within 3 working days of the event completion.

 

Other Responsibilities:

 

  • Build regional understanding of the important media (magazines/websites/blogs, etc.) by Industry, enhance existing, and build up new relationships, and coordinate all local press activities and report coverage with Corporate Marketing and Media Services.
  • Work with the relevant Industry teams; develop regional 'Big Win' stories, Be Inspired submissions, user success stories, news items and press releases that are aligned to Industry Plans and corporate marketing messaging.
  • Use Qlikview reports in conjunction with Industry/Product teams on what works and what do not in terms of support for go to market campaigns.
  • Manage and leverage Bentley Executive visits with local sales leadership and Corporate.
  • Engage with Marketing Engagement Services for data acquisition, cleanup and requirements for the local region including interfacing with sales management to qualify requests and ensure we have a plan to leverage new names.
  • Ensure Channel management is aware of planned marketing programs in the region to facilitate proper leverage of marketing programs by Channel
  • Support Corporate initiatives like Year in Infrastructure, Be Inspired and Bentley LEARN initiatives in the region
  • Build industry knowledge in identified verticals, with respect to the region.

 

 

Performance Standards:

 

  • Comply with corporate procedures, including approval of contracts terms and conditions by the Legal and Marketing Management
  • Adhere to localization guidelines, to ensure the quality and accuracy of translations
  • Ensure that events and programs are executed within the approved budget
  • Ensure local social media initiatives are executed in compliance with Bentley Social media policy

 

Candidate profile:

  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Preferably with an MBA or a post-grad diploma in marketing management
  • Skilled / certified in digital marketing and/or social media marketing. Comfortable with data and analytics.
  • Proficient in English, good knowledge of Hindi or one of the regional languages will be helpful
  • Keen learner, team player.
