Position Summary:

 

Bentley is currently seeking to hire an experienced Account Manager to develop new business across an overall mix of existing and new accounts. Primary focus is new business 60% And account management 40% - Industry focus is primarily Construction sector in the AEC market

 

Your Day-to-Day:

 

  • Developing new business opportunities with new users for Bentley's construction and utility solutions to support project delivery and operations.
  • Establishing sales plans for the assigned user base. Prospecting and closing new business opportunities in a set of assigned accounts in Singapore and other ASEAN countries.
  • Develop relationships at various levels including C-Level, VP’s, Directors through use of direct sales techniques and on-site meetings
  • Develop a sales pipeline and forecast all revenue by effectively following sales process and managing all opportunities in CRM. Adhere to the Bentley Sales Process fully utilizing SAP Cloud for Sales (C4S) as a daily sales tool and reporting system
  • High level use and comfort utilizing social media and prospecting intelligence resources
  • Execute focused campaigns
  • Acting as primary contact within specified accounts by: a.) acting as the responsible direct contact partner for all commercial communications to and from accounts; b.) determining the sales strategy and vale propositions; and c.) negotiating and implementing approved contracts.
  • Participating in sales events such as conferences, exhibitions and presentations
  • Preparing sales reports in SAP C4S on various aspects of sales activities in the territory assigned to include such things as: forecasts, sales data, etc.
  • Maintaining a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services, as well as knowledge on the particular Industry workflows, business drivers, and major players.
  • Collaborate across all functional teams, Renewals, SMB Sales, Financial Operations, and User Success in order to deliver best-in-class outcomes for the Users.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and relevant years of experience and a passion for hitting targets.
  • Experience selling to Singapore Government agencies will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling software solutions into the Engineering and Construction industry Or the Energy/Power industry.
  • Knowledge of ECM solutions with Construction background desired.
  • Fluency in English required. Knowledge of another language (Mandarin OR Thai) is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Well-disciplined and organized with a high level of personal integrity
  • Self-motivating “can-do”-attitude
  • PC literacy with appropriate MS Office applications proficiency.
