Senior Software Engineer (Back-End C/C++)

Location: Office/Hybrid/Remote – Europe-based.

Position Summary:

We have some exciting new opportunities for talented C++ Software/Back-end Developers enthusiastic about leveraging bleeding-edge technologies to build and maintain software solutions for the Digital Twin industry.

 The iTwin platform is an open, scalable cloud platform-as-a-service that enables ISVs, system integrators, engineering firms, and owner-operators to create, visualize, and analyze digital twins of infrastructure assets.

We will rely on you for the following:

• Build mission-critical software that synchronizes engineering data with iTwins in the cloud, which are digital representations of real-world infrastructure assets and projects. These could be oil refineries, roads and railway networks, bridges, power stations, and more.
• Participate in all stages of the development process for the software.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development Leaders, and other Developers to connect our iTwin platform to infrastructure management solutions.
• Work with Agile principles to support a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery software development process.
• Create solutions that synchronize infrastructure engineering data with the iTwin platform enabling better management, maintenance, and operational support of infrastructure assets.

What you Bring to the Team:

• BS in Computer Science/Software Engineering or relevant experience.
• 6+ years’ experience in software development.
• Proficient in C++ software development, understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, and Design Patterns.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
• A demonstrable commitment to writing robust, testable, and maintainable code while actively giving and receiving feedback.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting, refactoring and debugging in Visual Studio.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Git and version control concepts.

We have multiple roles available, so understanding one of these domains would be advantageous:

• Familiarity with Building, Architecture, Civil and Plant Domains, and application file formats

• Revit, IFC, NWD, STEP
• Smart3D, SPPID, PDMS, PL XML

• Exposure to 3D modeling concepts and libraries

• Geometry, Meshes, surfaces, etc.
• Parasolid or any 3d modeling SDK knowledge
