Senior Product Manager

Position Summary

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the success of one or more large products, a product suite or brand, with an awareness of where the brand fits into the larger corporate direction. By collaborating with management on developing the short- and long-term business strategy for managed product scope, the successful candidate will champion significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity, and possess extensive latitude for independent judgment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide a leadership role for the workgroup.
  • Continuously realign team efforts with corporate goals and strategy.
  • Manage the brand roadmap and prioritize independently, with occasional alignment touchpoints with the manager.
  • Plan and oversee product launch logistics independently.
  • Promotion of brand through outward-facing engagements.
  • Maintain and monitor established products, compiling and presenting updates to business leaders, including executive management.
  • Assist various departments (Legal, Finance, Marketing, Sales, User Success) with matters pertaining to owned products.
  • Identify and react to trends in the relevant industry, using business intelligence and professional contacts.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience (Bachelor’s degree or Master's Degree preferred).
  • 10 years of experience as a product manager in a public software company or as a business consultant in a public consulting organisation, with a background in enterprise systems preferred.
  • Experience with data systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in effectively communicating to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Influential, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to solve complex problems through excellent analysis.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and develop deep knowledge of the owned products and domain expertise of the business in which they operate.
  • Ability to define and implement relevant product performance metrics.
  • Awareness of product's financial profile (cost, margins, ARR, etc.).
  • Understand business aspects of the user experience such as purchasing and billing and assist the user in decisions.
  • Awareness of the finite availability of development resources and ability to plan and react accordingly.
  • Prior experience within the AEC industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
