Product Sales Representative


Location: This position has the flexibility to accommodate hybrid, fully remote, or in-office work to qualified candidates in the USA


Position Summary:


Bentley Systems invites talented individuals to join our high-performance team of Product Sales Representatives.  Product Sales Representatives handle inbound sales of assigned brands into accounts. This is a sales revenue generating role supporting existing accounts with, services, training, and cloud offerings that help our users achieve their desired business outcomes.  Successful Product Sales Representatives will thrive in a fast-paced environment, are self-motivated and will ideally have inside sales experience.





  • Responsible for supporting the global sales team with selling IoT products.
  • Qualify and support transactional inbound opportunities.
  • Negotiate sales and/or service agreements.
  • Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services.
  • Interface with Account Managers, Legal and Financial Operations to execute supporting agreements necessary to transact business.
  • Utilize CRM system to research accounts, log, and track all activities including meetings, leads, opportunities, quotes, and closed sales.


Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:


  • Undergraduate degree in environmental science or similar.
  • Preferred minimum of one (1) year of experience with a software company in Inside Sales, Financial Operations, and/or Customer Service, with a flair for communicating with accounts and maximizing the account’s outcomes and Bentley’s revenue.
  • Experience with CRM systems Ex: Hub Spot, Salesforce, Cloud for Sales.
  • A pleasant non-intrusive manner, positive attitude, eye for detail, resourceful and inquisitive.
  • Self-starter, driven and accountable.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate activities.
  • Excellent English language and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information to users and prospects via phone and web.
  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general business applications is required.
  • Excellent cross-collaboration skills with various internal departments.
  • B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent track record of establishing strong internal/external relationships and meeting/exceeding yearly quota.
  • Excellent problem solving in technical understanding of the client’s requirements & challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role does not require travel.
