This is a full-time position and can be based out of a home office within the US. This position reports directly to Senior Director, Transportation AI.

Position Summary

The Director of Business Operations & Contracts is critical to the success of the Blyncsy team. Not only is this role expected to provide day-to-day support to the Senior Director, Transportation AI—giving them additional leverage and amplifying their impact—but it will also own critical, commercial, legal and transformational projects. As the Director of Business Operations, you will work closely with both the Blyncsy team, Asset Analytics leadership and Legal teams in driving the rhythm of the business—thinking holistically and strategically about key operational rhythms, business processes, and procedures to organizing and streamline operation which support the business and enable effective execution.

Within this role, you will be focused on continuous operational and business improvement and effectiveness through means of using your expertise to identify issues that impede business group success. You will streamline time management, information, and decision processes to be more effective for the Blyncsy team and the organization and become a trusted business advisor to our Legal department.

Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Director Transportation AI in preparing meeting KPIs, navigating partnerships and ensuring success of major initiatives.
  • Consistent project management of initiatives across the team.
  • Own and drive long-term change management initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and recommend improvement actions and plans.
  • Be the trusted advisor and manager of contracts with the Legal team.
  • Coordinate efforts and serve as intermediary across Operations, Marketing, Sales, Product and Engineering.
  • Chair team meetings to review strategic topics and monitor operational health.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement team on onboarding and continuous learning.
  • Accelerate alignment across teams to integrate initiatives and achieve progress.
  • Act as Director proxy in requested meetings.
  • Manage daily calendar and travel.
  • Represent team interests to Senior Leadership as a cultural ambassador.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-organizationally to create partner offerings that meet market demands, support partner business growth, and align with company objectives. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing various types of partner contracts.
  • Assist in negotiating and implementing terms of partner agreements related to offerings, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Manage the execution of contracts leading to revenues. Maintain an organized system of digital contract files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Summarize complex contracts and legal agreements into easily understandable reports for internal stakeholders.



Qualifications

  • Preferably a Professional degree in law, business, or related field required.
  • Preferably 10+ years of experience in relevant legal roles supporting tech companies.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Hands-On Approach: Willingness to actively contribute to daily processes and projects.
  • Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build effective relationships.
  • Well-developed ability to read and interpret the internal and external landscape.
  • Drive systemic improvements and effectively communicate changes across teams.
  • Build trust and accountability for delivering high-quality results.
  • Understanding Bentley's business preferable.
  • This role requires 25% of travel.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
