ABOUT Infrastructure IoT:

Bentley Systems’ Infrastructure IoT platform and products are a comprehensive solution for asset owners and their engineering service providers to increase visibility to critical performance and risk management metrics generated by networks of distributed sensors. It expands the scope of the Bentley iTwin platform and adds intrinsic IoT capabilities for digital twins to incorporate real-time sensor data. By virtue of the resulting “infrastructure IoT” standardization, the IoT ecosystem makes accessible IT/OT/ET integration, through digital twins, to advance asset performance and sustainability.

 

Position Summary:

Bentley is seeking a highly motivated individual to work in our Infrastructure IoT customer support team. You will be in contact with our customers all over the world and assist them with support related to their use of the IoT platform and integration with the various Bentley products.

 

Your Day-To-Day:

  • Resolving users' application questions or problems in the areas of software configurations/setup, product functionality and bugs/enhancements
  • Serving as primary support liaison between company and user for urgent support issues
  • Perform follow up, testing and troubleshooting of products
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers and product managers)
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers in line with response time commitments defined in our Service Level Agreement
  • Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged in the Company helpdesk system
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IoT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports as required to communicate with colleagues and managers within the Infrastructure IoT team
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Maintain relationships with clients
  • Provide online training to customers.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • An aptitude and desire to quickly learn about new sensing technologies supported by our platform and products
  • Ability to work constructively with disgruntled customers and support them to a swift resolution of their concerns/issues
  • Persistence in resolving customer concerns by clearly advocating technical requirements to internal product team members.
