Vendor Compliance Manager

Position Summary:

The Vendor Manager/Compliance Specialist is responsible for overseeing the governance, risk, and compliance aspects of vendor relationships. This role involves evaluating, managing, and mitigating risks associated with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The Vendor Manager/Compliance will work closely with various business units to ensure that vendor activities align with Bentley’s risk management framework and strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement vendor management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and due diligence on potential and existing vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with legal, InfoSec, and other relevant departments to negotiate vendor contracts.
  • Maintain a vendor risk register and track remediation efforts.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of vendor controls and processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on vendor risk management.
  • Prepare and present reports on vendor risk and compliance to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to vendor management.
  • This role requires travel once per year for team building.
  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, based in our Exton, PA office.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field or relevant training and/or experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor management, risk management, or compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in vendor management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP).
  • Experience in technology or financial services sectors.
