Position Summary:
The Digital Business Enablement team is responsible for partnering with our business stakeholders to deliver optimized processes, systems, and data capabilities to grow our business. These solutions provided by Digital Business Enablement are the core of our user's experience engaging with Bentley internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be a leader to partner with our Finance and Accounting organization to design, configurator and operate solutions in our Workday Financials application.

We are seeking a seasoned Workday Solution Consultant with a breath of experience implementing and maintaining solutions in the Workday Financials application. The Senior Solution Consultant, Workday Financials will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Workday Financial Management system. This role ensures the system aligns with the Finance organization’s goals while operating a leading practices financial system. The position will be the key point of contact for the Finance organization for Workday. The position will also provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and manage system updates and integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Administering, maintaining, and configuring enhancements to support our Workday Financial Management application including:
- Foundational Data Model (FDM)
- Core financials
- Banking and settlement
- Business processes
- Reporting
- EIB creation and usage
- Ensure configuration and enhancements of the system support best practices for the Record-to-Report (R2R) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Partner with the financial systems development team to help troubleshoot issues with existing and development of new integrations.
- Coordinate adoption and regression testing for bi-annual feature release process.
- Partner with Workday reporting team to develop custom reports to support financial and operational reporting.
- Assist with audit requests and requirements
- This is a full-time role expected the work 40 hours per week, home-based in Canada.
- Required sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
- This position will require travel up to 5% per year.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, a relevant field, or equivalent training and experience with a multinational publicly traded company
- 5+ years of Workday Finance experience
- Deep functional knowledge of accounting, finance, and financial reporting processes
- Prism or Accounting Center experience a plus
- Strong understanding of Workday security
- Workday Financial Pro certification is advantageous
- Working understanding of Workday Integration concepts and their uses for different business requirements
- Experience working in a large-scale, highly complex business environment utilizing multiple integrated systems to manage business processes
- Experience in a post go-live environment handling issues, providing user support, and enabling enhancements
- Strong communication skills; effective communication in written and verbal form.
- Ability to act proactively
- Ability to be a self-starter and informally lead others while working with multiple teams
