Position Summary:
Bentley is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Professional for our Cohesive Division. This role will be responsible for increasing company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities, turning sales prospects into clients, and developing long-term business growth strategies. To be successful as a Senior Sales Professional, you should be persuasive and have strong business acumen, adept at negotiating sound business deals and demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
We are looking for individuals that are passionate about delivering transformative solutions and can describe and discuss enterprise asset management, asset delivery and asset service performance optimization solutions, the power of data, digital twins, artificial intelligence, and capitalizing on new technology to optimize and automate operations for better long-term sustainable results.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility for this role is to secure purchase orders from existing and net new customers for Cohesive services and partner software sales that are aligned to Cohesive’s Go-to-Market strategy.
- Preparing and presenting software and services proposals while collaborating with delivery resources for resource estimation and software vendors for quotes.
- Managing internal processes for deal review, approval, and handover as well as maintaining sales information and records in the CRM (HubSpot).
- Executing a targeted communications strategy within Cohesive’s specific industry practices.
- Identifying sector targets and developing sector and individual client pursuit plans.
- Building successful networking relationships with key industry bodies to identify future opportunities.
- Take a leadership role in major events: IMC, MaximoWorld, and defining what conferences and events we should sponsor as our solution in the market and position evolves.
- Provide detailed and accurate opportunity updates and sales forecasts
- Support partnership and account level escalations with the delivery teams.
What You Bring to The Team:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, related field, or relevant training and/or experience
Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum of 10 years sales experience in the asset management technology industry is required and 5 years selling Maximo is preferred.
- Broad-based industry/sector experience, which MUST include experience within one or more of: engineering, transportation, energy and utilities, manufacturing, mining, and asset management.
- Experience with large global consulting or SI companies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen, detail-oriented and persuasive
- Proven track record of building relationships, with a strong personal network.
- This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, office, hybrid, or home-based in the US.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
