Position Summary:
The Bentley Marketing Data & Analytics team is seeking a Senior Marketing Data Manager to shape the how Bentley designs, governs, and reports marketing and sales pipeline data.
This role will report to the Director, Marketing Systems and Analytics, and serves as a bridge between business stakeholders, marketing platform owners, and analytics teams to ensure that our marketing data model is strategically aligned with business objectives and technically capable of supporting advanced attribution, segmentation, and ROI analysis.
The Senior Marketing Data Strategy Manager will be responsible for designing, enriching, and maintaining the marketing data model and ecosystem to improve pipeline measures, segmentation accuracy, and support multi-touch attribution.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role requiring strong expertise in data strategy, governance, and integration across marketing and sales platforms.
Responsibilities:

Data Strategy & Governance

Audit existing further develop the end-to-end marketing data model to enable robust reporting and insights across the funnel.

Define and enforce data governance standards, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment across platforms.

Document, validate, and maintain key data definitions and structures in partnership with data analysts and platform owners.

Attribution & Pipeline Visibility

Refine processes that track contact acquisition, campaign performance, and pipeline contribution across multiple touchpoints.

Partner with analytics teams to support multi-touch attribution models and ROI frameworks.

Audience Segmentation & Enrichment

Collaborate with campaign owners and field marketers to design data collection strategies that support effective audience segmentation.

Collaborate with Marketing Ops to develop enrichment approaches to improve contact data quality and strengthen targeting for marketing campaigns.

This an individual contributor requiring cross-functional collaboration

Work closely with stakeholders in Go-to-Market, Marketing Ops. IT, Sales, and the Bentley Data Office to ensure that evolving business processes are reflected in the marketing data model.

Review with and advise platform power users (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, GA4) to establish or maintain technical execution with strategic data needs.

This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility required to be able meet with global team members and colleagues.

This role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.

This role does not require travel but there may be the occasional opportunity to travel to a Bentley office location to meet with colleagues in person.

Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer.
Qualifications:
Required-
-
7+ years of experience in marketing data strategy, analytics, or related roles.

Proven expertise in structuring, governing, and enriching marketing data.
-
Strong knowledge of data collection, integration, and reporting processes across multiple platforms.

Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to translate marketing objectives into data requirements.

Demonstrated ability to design scalable data models that support attribution and segmentation.

In-depth experience building Salesforce reports including bucket functions and calculated fields.
Preferred-

Experience building dashboards in Power BI or similar platform and typical ETL practices

Experience working in Salesforce and Marketo environments.

Familiarity with Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar cloud data warehouses.

Prior experience in an enterprise or B2B environment with complex, multi-channel marketing ecosystems.
