Position Summary:
Bentley is looking for an experienced Senior HR Manager to join our Colleague Relations team. As a Senior HR Manager, you will implement best practices, and drive efficiencies across HR processes. You will have the opportunity to work with talented colleagues and senior leaders throughout our entire organization and partner with the corporate centers of excellence such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Colleague Experience, Technology and Analytics, to drive global functions.
The responsibilities cross all functions within Colleague Relations, including but not limited to employment, compliance, compensation, global mobility, and terminations. Due to the variety and breadth of responsibilities, we are looking for a dynamic HR professional who can think critically, act strategically and apply knowledge to the topic at hand to resolve issues. Your Day-to-Day:
- Coach and counsel managers and colleagues on matters relating to performance management, PIPs & PEPs, exit and termination management, and conduct internal investigations.
- Coach managers on the application of all colleague relation policies and processes.
- Collaborate with the Colleague Success (HR) team members to deliver operational excellence enabling efficient and effective onboarding, off boarding, data management, data integrity and compliance.
- Ensure and maintain state and federal regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to EEOC, AAP, OFCCP, etc. Tracking local legislative changes and suggests responses to ensure continued compliance.
- Demonstrate company values and behaviours every day.
- Manage audit and reporting processes, including coordination between functions and groups internally and externally.
- Represent the company from an HR side on labour arbitration. Working hand in hand with the legal team and HR Leadership team on such cases. Maintain expertise in legal requirements related to day-to-day management of colleagues, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement a Company-wide strategy and approach to align country specific as well as global (such as ISO, SOC 2, SOX) compliance requirements with employment practices and business objectives.
- Work hand in hand with our Colleague Services and Business partner team members.
- Proactively stay up to date on industry trends, researching and recommending best practices to follow.
- Provide appropriate compensation recommendation based on internal and external benchmark, including international mobility cases.
- Accountability of maintaining country/state specific policies, handbooks and procedure documents up-to-date.
What You Bring to The Team:
- At least 7 years’ hands-on HR experience. Employee relations and compliance focused experience is essential.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and employment legislation for different states is essential.
- Experience with Federal and state compliance reporting such as EEOC, AAP, OFCCP and others required
- Knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources Management, preferably in a multi-state or global environment.
- SHRM certification preferred.
- Solid organizational skills, including the ability to accomplish demanding timeline objectives, prioritize assignments, and be comfortable with change and continuous improvement.
- A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively as well as handle sensitive and confidential situations with care.
- A desire to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- This role does not require travel.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
