Security Communication Specialist

Location:  Anywhere in the US (Remote) 

Position Summary:

The Security Operations Specialist will be responsible for articulating and documenting Bentley’s Information security and cyber security posture in detail as well as describing how it aligns with potential/existing customer requirements. The Security Operations Specialist will continually track and communicate the status of Bentley’s Information security and cyber security posture to internal and external stakeholders and interested parties.

 We will rely on you for the following:

• Should be able to work on identifying concerns for escalation and remediation. Provide input and recommendations on Information security and Cyber security requirements from contractual, compliance, or government sources.
• Participate in transactional discussions/emails with customers on Information security and Cyber security requirements.
• Maintain and have input on externally facing documentation (web-based) detailing Bentley’s Security Posture.

 What You Bring to The Team:

• 5 years of experience in the Information security/Cyber security space including industry standard compliance programs such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, and SOC2.
• 5 years of creating and maintaining formal documentation including detailed policies and procedures.
• Detail understanding of current Information security and Cyber security technologies including capabilities, strengths, and challenges (a Security Posture).
• Based on audience requirements – internal/external should be able to communicate clearly on Information security/Cyber security topics, understanding how those audiences require different kinds of communication
