We are looking for an Education Technical Manager to facilitate the day-to-day execution of our Education Hub’s technical development. -
Execute the technical roadmap for the Education Hub platform, ensuring it evolves to support a multi-channel delivery strategy that delivers an exceptional digital experience across our platforms.
-
Act as the first contact for our Education Hub's technical health, identifying and first-touch triage of back-end bugs, diagnosing data issues or gaps, and collaborating with development teams to scope task requirements and drive them to resolution.
-
Serve as the primary technical translator for briefing our internal development teams, translating product requirements into clear, well-defined technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
-
Develop and support the execution of technical test plans for new functionality to ensure quality and performance before release.
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in a technical role with a combination of senior/lead and hands-on responsibilities. You might have a hybrid background with experiences like a Technical Lead, Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or a Senior Solutions Architect.
-
Deep understanding of the modern software development lifecycle; CI/CD and version control concepts; and PHP scripting experience. Proficiency in HTML and CSS is preferred; some experience with modern content architecture and experience with large-scale enterprise platforms or decoupled CMS solutions would be beneficial.
-
Some hands-on experience with the technical evaluation and integration of third-party SaaS tools, APIs, and services.
-
Experience working with safeguarded users or in high regulatory environments is a benefit.
This role will need to have primary working hours to work flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues in the UK and US Eastern time zones.
