Consultant II (Maximo)

The Consultant II Maximo works with business and IT stakeholders to translate business issues and requirements into best practice processes, blueprint, and functional specifications and aligns to Maximo fucntionality. This role is responsible for working on complex challenges using technical skills and functional experience, contributing to both client and internal projects working both collaboratively and independently. The Consultant II is also responsible for assisting more junior members of the team.  During the software development and implementation, the Consultant II Maximo  is responsible for securing quality of deliverables and effectiveness of communication between the implementation teams (Configuration, interfacing, data mapping/conversion etc). Along with project responsibilities this role is involved in Advisory Services projects, where they assess and advice clients on their maturity in Asset Management and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.

Responsibilities:

• · Provide functional leadership throughout the lifecycle of a project including functional specification development, testing, and deployment assistance, and ongoing support
• · Configure and customize client solutions applying in-depth knowledge of workflows, system configuration, and some customizations to develop asset management technical solutions for customers
• · Concurrently work on multiple projects which support the complex and demanding requirements of project delivery
• · Identifying and tracking issues related to project delivery
• · Manage the facilitation/documentation of system design workshops, process reengineering workshops and the creation of project and system documentation including process maps, system requirements, data standards, and training materials
• · Acting as an advocate for the end-user within the project delivery team
• · Assessing progress against project delivery plans and report risks to the project team
• · Assist with coordinating data modelling and data collection activities
• · Seeking continuous improvements in implementation of processes and procedures and deliver independently or with the team
• · Oversight of development, testing, and deployment of solutions
• · Fully responsible for smaller work packages or larger scopes of work and design solutions based on experience
• · Provide client support and training
• · Take an active role in preparing responses to RFIs and RFPs
• · Assist with controlling scope of project design and deliver high-quality, value-added results for both client and internal projects
• · Mentor and guide junior members of the team
• · Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer 
• · Travel to client sites as needed
