About the Role:
Are you ready to start a new journey with a team of energized professionals advancing and connecting the world’s infrastructure? Bentley is looking for you! We are looking for a talented Application Security Architect to be part of our dedicated Bentley Infrastructure Cloud product security team at Bentley Systems. The successful candidate will be a member of the software development group that delivers industry leading software to transition the lifecycle of infrastructure assets into the digital world, contributing towards the Bentley Mission of providing innovative software and services for the enterprises and professionals who design, build and operate the world's infrastructure - advancing both the global economy and environment for improved quality of life.
This role demands exceptional expertise, a passion for learning, and a willingness to embrace challenges. You'll collaborate with a team of remotely based experts from across the globe, working across a diverse range of technologies, including C#, Typescript, JavaScript, Node.js, single-page applications and Electron applications, Azure cloud services, K8s, and more.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead Secure Software Development Lifecycle: making sure we follow best practices and standards.
- Perform: security architecture and design reviews of applications.
- Collaborate: with empowered teams to ensure secure design, development, implementation, and verification of applications.
- Participation: advancing threat modelling practices across the division.
- Advice: helping stakeholders make risk-based decisions.
- Mentoring: sharing knowledge with developers and creating educational presentations.
- Implementation: being part of creating new tools and automation supporting responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience in Application Security Architecture with a strong understanding of modern software development practices.
- Cloud-Native Technologies: Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with securing Cloud technologies, threat modelling systems, breaking down complex systems and applications to identify threats.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Flexible Work Arrangements:
Ability to work from the office or fully remote from Europe region.
