Position Summary:

We are looking for a Regional Sales Director, reporting directly to the VP Regional Executive to lead a team, helping them to drive new digital transformation projects and coaching them to achieve desired revenue and business results by executing a highly intentional, business outcome-based sales approach that delivers success to accounts and Bentley.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Develop a culture of success and business professionalism.
  • Developing key relationships with a number of assigned regional accounts.
  • Lead a team of Account managers in developing, growing, and enhancing their accounts
  • Coach, mentor and develop individuals and team, leverage feedback processes and monitor performance
  • Develop a strong Pipeline development and management, drive accurate forecasting
  • Help build and constantly enhance strategic account plans.
  • Consistently challenge status quo in pursuit of best-in-class performance.
  • Plan and communicate clearly to ensure best use of company wide resources.
  • Contribute to the overall Regional Accounts leadership team to ensure we continue to innovate and optimize the opportunities that exist for Bentley.
  • Negotiating and implementing approved sales agreements and contracts.
  • Ensure Bentley Sales Process is adhered to in all sales situations.
  • Provide clear and concise communication of activities and accurately forecast business of team.
  • Maintaining good understanding of Bentleys market offerings and be able to communicate benefits and values in a compelling way.
  • Provide Thought Leadership to Accounts.
  • Lead by example, personally engaging at CxO level, demonstrating industry/business insight, supporting & coaching team on new opportunity discovery & acceleration.
  • Hold team accountable for sales execution, driving excellence in new business planning, pipeline management, forecasting & close planning.

  • An understanding and practical experience of selling Enterprise agreements

  • Act as a member of the Regional Accounts leadership team, supporting and helping drive change.
  • Reinforce the Global Accounts strategy for growth, to both direct, indirect, and wider colleagues.

Educational Background:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • Experience: 2+ years Sales Management experience, with 5+ years of technology-related experience.
  • Excellent Communicator. Strong negotiation, organizational, presentation, financial acumen, written, and verbal communication skills.   
  • Proficient: Experience with complex sales training (e.g., Miller Hyman, Spin, Michael Bosworth, Challenger, Insight Selling, etc.) and sales methodologies
  • Influential: Significant experience delivering persuasive presentations to business decision makers.  
  • Knowledgeable: Experienced in selling to multiple sectors and industries including Federal Government, State Government, Utilities, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and Construction.
  • Sales Management Excellence:   Exhibits outstanding operational excellence - including monthly/quarterly forecasting, building healthy pipeline, CRM entry and hygiene, opportunity management and virtual team orchestration.
  • Amazing Leader:  Management experience of hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing sales individuals.
  • Market Maker:  Demonstrated results from creating and leading sales campaigns to prospect and win business from new accounts.
