Within Bentley, the Design organization plays a critical role in ensuring these solutions are not only powerful but also intuitive, efficient, and aligned with user needs. Because our products support complex engineering workflows, a deep understanding of our users' goals, challenges, and processes is essential to creating successful experiences.
As a member of the Integration & Interoperability team you will help shape our product portfolio by partnering with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design intuitive experiences that help users work seamlessly across Bentley and third-party applications.
Your day-to-day
- Partner with stakeholders to understand user needs and define product direction.
- Plan and conduct user research, interviews, and discovery activities.
- Translate research findings into actionable insights and design solutions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the design process.
- Participate in design critiques, concept reviews, and solution ideation.
- Validate solutions through usability testing and user feedback.
- Contribute to and champion Bentley's design system.
- Improve workflows across Bentley products and external platforms.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
What you bring
- Experience designing complex enterprise (B2B) software.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Advanced Figma skills, including components, libraries, and design systems.
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
- Proficiency in prototyping and concept validation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Pluses
- Familiarity with the infrastructure field.
- Prior exposure to 3D/CAD.
- Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, User Experience, or related field.
