WORKDAY PLATFORM SPECIALIST

Location : Anywhere in India (Hybrid or Home-based)

 

Position Overview 

Bentley is undergoing a significant transformation to modernize its sales, marketing, data, and ERP platforms, aiming to enhance user experiences and streamline processes company-wide. The digital business enablement team plays a pivotal role in this journey, collaborating with business units to deliver state-of-the-art enterprise applications. To support these advancements, the team seeks a platform specialist dedicated to driving innovation, optimization, and growth through the Workday platform. 

The ideal candidate for the Workday Platform Specialist role will possess proven administrative expertise in efficiently managing Workday operations, demonstrating familiarity with EIBs, security, edit tenant setups, integrations, OX, and customer central administration. This position is integral to ensuring secure platforms, streamlined administrative processes, continuous platform enhancement, and the deployment or support of key solution capabilities. We are seeking an individual certified in either Workday Financials or Workday HCM, with hands-on experience in administering industry-leading applications.  This opportunity will include tenant management, release management, and technical alerting and monitoring responsibilities.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to compliance standards and governance policies. This includes regular audits, maintaining documentation, and ensuring that all changes are properly tracked and reported. 

  • Change evidence for in-scope audit tag objects 

  • Annual certification of KB article content and relevancy. 

  • PBC populations in Audit tooling 

  • ITGC support and collaboration with audit partners 

  • Platform Management: Manage relationships with Workday vendors and service providers. Coordinate with vendors for system updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements.  Manage and maintain all enabled Workday modules. 

  • Responsible for tenant setup related activities including edit tenant setup tasks and solution enablement for in-scope functional areas. 

  • Manage dashboards and socialize availability and performance metrics 

  • Perform regular system updates and patches. 

  • Coordinate R1 and R2 release cycles with stakeholders 

  • Manage sandbox and sandbox preview refresh schedules 

  • Provide migration administration support including customer central administration responsibilities 

  • Audit tag maintenance and reporting for all governed objects.  Change control reporting and socialization of discretionary changes as well. 

  • Maintain the repository for all in-scope audit objects via audit tags 

  • Provide change control support in ensuring audit requirements are met 

  • Responsible for change control documentation, requirements, and socialization 

  • Responsible for coordination and maintenance of our KB including annual documentation certification and updating user guides or QRGs. 

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Workday operations. Regularly review performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal system functionality.  

  • System Availability: Measure the uptime and reliability of the Workday platform to ensure it is consistently available for users 

  • Performance Indicators: Track the performance of various Workday modules and functionalities to identify areas for improvement 

  • User Satisfaction: Assess user feedback and satisfaction levels to ensure the platform meets their needs and expectations. 

  • Compliance Adherence: Monitor adherence to compliance standards and governance policies to ensure all changes are properly tracked and reported. 

  • Support Ticket Resolution: Track the efficiency and effectiveness of resolving user support tickets to ensure timely and accurate assistance 

  • User Support: Offer technical support to users experiencing issues with Workday. Leverage our support ticketing system to track and resolve user queries efficiently. 

  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during system updates or migrations. Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders. 

  • Plan and execute code migrations across development, testing, and production environments.  Demonstrated proficiency with OX, configuration and security configuration packages. 

  • Ensure proper version control and documentation of code changes.  Adherence to ITGC change control policy including audit tag maintenance and reporting. 

  • Collaborate with developers to implement new features and enhancements. 

 

What you Bring to the Team :

  • 3+ years of experience in Workday administrative roles. 

  • 2+ years of experience administering a business application or providing administrative support capabilities. 

  • A strong understanding of the Workday platform, best practices, and tools is essential. This includes proficiency in configuring and maintaining Workday modules such as HCM and Financials. 

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for this role. The candidate should be able to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
