The Sales Technology Analyst will be the primary liaison between Global Business Solutions team and Bentley’s Sales Operations Team and help drive improvements to business processes in sales technology solutions. This position is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, operation and ongoing administration of our Sales technology platforms. This position is based in our Pune, IN Office.



  • Responsible for administration and configuration of SAP Sales Cloud and other Sales technology tools
  • Work with numerous levels of business users around the world to gather requirements, evaluate and translate those into workable solutions in SAP Sales Cloud and other non-SAP solutions
  • Understand all facets of such as Account Management, Organizational Management, Business Objects like Leads, Opportunities, Quotes and other items like Activities, Intelligent Sales, TM Rules, Products, Pricing, Campaigns and creation of reports
  • Analyze data replication between SAP Sales Cloud, SAP CRM and SAP Cloud Portal via CPI and monitor WSM Errors, resolve them
  • Manage and ensure role-based permissions are in compliance and support user provisioning
  • Validate functionalities after quarterly release upgrades, and hot fixes and handle the communication on upgrade schedule, impact of upgrade and new functionalities introduced
  • Work with other technical teams on designing integration of Sales Cloud using middleware (CPI) with SAP CRM, SAP Marketing Cloud, Snowflake, SAP Cloud Portal and SAP ECC
  • Gather information, determine alternatives, create requirements, functional/technical specifications, estimate development hours, create technical design to meet defined business needs
  • Troubleshoot system problems, investigate, analyze and recommend short-term/long-term solutions
  • Develop product modifications and collaborate with the software vendors for product improvements
  • Define/implement workaround processes, corrective action, communication and system cleanup activities
  • Formulate and execute positive and negative unit test plans and assist in developing system regression and performance test plans for enhancements or new releases in the various test and productive environments
  • Actively expand skills and professional development through training courses and daily interaction with colleagues

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business engineering or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of IT Experience, preferably on SAP Systems and primarily on Sales Automation / CRM, Cloud Portal, Data Integration, Analytics
  • 2+ years of experience on administering, configuring and enhancing Sales automation Tools like SAP Sales Cloud (highly preferred) or other platforms like Sales Force / Microsoft Dynamics / HubSpot
  • Experience in integrating Sales platforms like SAP Sales Cloud and SAP CRM with SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Cloud Portal and Data Tools
  • Good understand of Sales initiatives and processes like Account Management, Transaction flow like Leads, Opportunities, Quotes, Orders, Contracts, Pricing, TM Rules, Intelligent Sales and Analytics
  • Customer first mentality with demonstrated ability to improve processes and be a team player
  • Ability to multi-task development, support and on-going maintenance projects and meet deadlines in a complex and dynamic environment 

Desired Skills

  • 2+ years of SAP Sales Cloud
  • 2+ years of SAP CRM
  • Minimum of 1 Full Life-cycle implementations of SAP Sales Cloud
  • Experience on other Sales Automation platforms is a bonus
