Senior Software Engineer

Location- Hybrid, Pune

Responsibilities:  

• Build enjoyable and productive user experiences for our users! 

• Understand requirements by reviewing roles, scenarios, workflows, UX mockups prepared by product management and UX teams 

• Design and build front ends for our enterprise applications, using Bentley’s open-source iTwinUI design system and components 

• Follow devops process, from design through to delivery 

• Learn and apply the latest technologies and coding patterns 

• Work with the QA team to find and resolve product defects 

• Follow secure development practices 

• Develop and use fully automated CI / CD pipelines to deliver code changes through a full DEVOPS environment 

• Focus on front-end development, but there will be opportunities to work full stack 

• Mentoring and sharing experience with other colleagues in the team 

Qualifications: 

• At least 5 years' experience in software development, with at least 2 years in web development 

• Graduate or post-graduate degree in computer science, software engineering or related field 

• Proficient in Typescript, CSS (Sass), React, Redux, and testing frameworks such as Jest 

• Working knowledge of JavaScript tooling such as WebPack, or Babel 

• Working experience with agile methodologies 

• Experience designing and architecting beautiful, functional, and performant single page front-end web applications (SPA) 

• Experience designing and architecting back-ends with well-defined REST APIs using Open API standards 

• Ability to write clear, maintainable, testable, efficient, and secure code 

• Intuitive knowledge of the short- and long-term repercussions of coding strategies and styles
