Senior HR Manager, India position will provide a unique opportunity for the HR professional looking for a new challenge. You will be responsible for all HR core services in India, plus partnering with the corporate centers of excellence to drive global functions such as talent management, compensation, talent acquisition, learning and development, and analytics. You will have the opportunity to work with talented colleagues and senior leaders within our organization. Your days will be diverse and challenging. Senior HR Manager position will be based in Pune, India, reporting to the HR Director, Global Talent Management /HROE in our Exton, PA office in Bentley headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to coach colleagues at all levels in the organization, experience in executive coaching will be a plus. Managing talent is the key aspect of this role and this job requires hands-on experience in leadership and talent development.
  • Collaborates with the HR leadership to support business objectives and advance the business and functions (talent acquisition, graduate development program, onboarding, talent mobility etc)
  • Identifies HR trends across the industry and proactively proposes programs to address these trends. Manages India-wide HR projects and programs from start to completion including organizational design, change management, employee engagement, culture, talent management, and compensation.
  • Acts with authority and the highest standards of business ethics on matters related to colleague well-being and protection of corporate business interests.
  • Should possess hands on experience in mentoring, counselling, grievance handling and talent management.
  • Experience of managing the team of HR professionals is a must, candidate should be well versed with operational HR aspects, labor compliances, statutory & legal compliances in HR, & Organizational Development, pertaining to India.
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills as well as the skill to identify and drive appropriate solutions is needed. Should be able to work with India leadership team, directors and managers to design and execute plans that fosters business success.
  • Makes informed decisions by using data to identify trends and work with business leaders to determine root cause of issues; develops organizational effectiveness solutions.
  • Effective collaboration with a global HR team is very essential for the success of this role.
  • Drive continuous improvement of regional HR processes, policies and procedures. Knowledge sharing with the Global HROE team so that others can refer the pattern/information.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Advancement team members to deliver operational excellence enabling the efficient and effective onboarding, off boarding, data management, data integrity and compliance.
  • Leads transformation of strategic programs by providing highly efficient HR solutions, championing change, growing operational excellence, and focusing on tactical implementation.
  • Partner with COEs to execute corporate programs including but not limited to Goal Setting, Performance – Feedback, Talent Review, Bentley NOW, facilitation of various trainings or initiatives like – leading a Cohort for Manager 2.0 etc.
  • End-to-end coordination on acquisition. Working closely with the business and acquisition team.
  • Ownership of regional staffing actions, coaching conversations, PIPs & PEPs.
  • Representing the company from HR side on labor arbitration. Working hand in hand with the legal team and HR Leadership team on such cases. Maintains expertise in legal requirements related to day-to-day management of colleagues in Canadian provinces, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Work hand in hand with HR Shared Services team and HR Business Partners.
  • Maintain the compensation process to achieve internal parity (including gathering data, benchmarking etc.), serving as an active advisor/support for managers in compensation proposal. Work hand in hand with the Compensation team.
  • Supports Talent Systems and Analytics team to ensure accurate data is captured and updated in personnel files (local hard copies and in the talent management system).
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate manager.

  • Willingness to explore new areas/venture into new projects. (involvement/ownership/completion)
  • Knowledge sharing with the other HROE team members.
     
  • Desired Qualification:
  • Masters or bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources /Business or related field.
  • 15 years’ experience in the HR field.
  • Knowledge about various HR information systems, Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Detail oriented and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record in successfully building effective working relationships.
  • Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence change & process improvements.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and demonstrate tact, discretion and good judgement.
  • Fluency in local language as well as English.
  • Ability and willingness to travel with India as well as internationally.
