Senior Consultant – Structural

Location: Remote or hybrid, based in India (Mumbai/Delhi)

Position Summary

Our consultants play a important role in delivering professional services to our users by leveraging their expertise. They are responsible for analyzing users’ business and technical requirements and developing solutions that meet those needs. Your technical proficiency will provide insights into client-to-business interactions and help improve user experience through product support. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical skills, an aptitude for learning and using new software, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. The ideal services colleague will engage with our users, maximize value, and create strategies to drive product adoption and growth.

Our services team consultants also work in partnership with our sales team to win new business. Experience with SACS, STAAD.Pro, STAAD Foundation Advanced, RAM Concept, RAM Connection, SACS, or other structural analysis software is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct software product training activities, project assessments, reviews and audits.
• Provide coaching on the use of the software to help users achieve required deliverables.
• Assist in composing technical proposals and benchmarks.
• Technically support sales team with benefit oriented, feature-specific demonstrations that promote Bentley solutions.
• Works with P&T team to continuously improve the product quality based on user feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of RCC and Steel structure analysis and design. 
• Familiarity with Indian and international design codes is preferred.
• Experience in the offshore industry is highly desirable.
• Thorough understanding of engineering practices in structural engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience in engineering industry.
• More than 5 years of experience using STAAD.Pro, STAAD Foundation Advanced, RAM Concept, RAM Connection, or RAM Structural System. Additional experience with competitor software (RISA, SAP, ETABs) is preferred. Experience with SACS a plus.
• Detail-oriented and a creative problem solver.
• Excellent written and oral communication skill in English as well as strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and effectively demonstrate Bentley’s software product line.
