Learning Insights Specialist/ Data Analytics & Reporting

Owns the reporting and analysis of user learning content consumption across all channels.

Position summary:

Bentley’s learning content is posted across various user-centric platforms and sites such as the Learn Portal, product channels on YouTube, ON24, Bentley Communities, LinkedIn Learning, etc. It is crucial to regularly track how users are consuming that learning content in the form of videos and web content so that the Content Strategy and Content Distribution teams have useful metrics and insights available for decision-making on what type of content and on what channels is it being received well. Such insights help ensure we optimize the efforts for content creation as well as content promotion to deliver learning to users as per their needs and expectations.

Reporting to Director-User Learning, the position of Learning Insights Specialist will play an important role in tracking, reporting and analyzing key metrics from various channels to create meaningful and actionable insights that teams within the User Learning function as well stakeholders can leverage to better understand the trends and performance of different content and channel types.

Day to day:

• Responsible for operational reporting of content consumption data and trends related to user engagement and sentiment
• Reporting and regular analysis of metrics, trends and best practices related to the consumption of different content types and performance of delivery channels to ensure closed-loop feedback to product SMEs for necessary action or change of course as may be needed
• Provide timely data and insights to Function Leads, Content Strategy Managers and Content Promotion teams to help them with decision-making, execution plans and QBRs prep
• Close collaboration with Success Ops teams for all data requirements and enhancements in terms of user feedback data (VoC, Learn Technology) and existing or new dashboards
• Identify and suggest ways of bringing efficiency in the data gathering and reporting through automation and process improvements

Desired candidate:

The desired candidate should have a curious mind, good understanding, experience and interest in data analytics. Someone with 3-5 years’ experience, who enjoys working with data to create insights and can help interpret numbers and analysis to business stakeholders will be suitable for this role. This role also requires strong collaboration within and outside the User Learning function and good communication skills for clearly articulating the successes and deficiencies that are discovered through data interpretation and analysis.
