Position Summary:
Bentley Systems is seeking a Senior Colleague Services Specialist (Automation & Process Engineering) with strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform and HR process automation.
This role goes beyond traditional HR operations — it is focused on designing, building, and scaling automated HR workflows using tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI-driven solutions. You will be responsible for transforming manual HR operations into intelligent, automated, and data-driven systems.
You will work at the intersection of HR, technology, and process engineering, driving end-to-end workflow automation, system integrations, and data governance across global HR operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end automated workflows using the right technology capability for the needs of the use case (tools from the Microsoft Power Platform stack, AI agents or other RPA apps).
- Identify automation opportunities across HR processes and convert them into scalable automation solutions.
- Develop trigger-based, event-driven workflows integrating HR systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors), email, SharePoint, and APIs.
- Optimize existing flows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with IT for the more complex automations that will require sophisticated programs, infrastructure set up or system integrations.
- Build automated reporting pipelines and dashboards (Power BI) for SLA and performance tracking.
- Use AI tools (either available general purpose LLMs and agents or purpose-specific commercially available apps) to increase effectiveness and to elevate the scope and complexity of the work that can be done by the team.
- Act as Power Platform SME, guiding stakeholders on best practices and feasibility.
- Create clear and robust process documentation, establishing a strong foundation for knowledge sharing, consistency, and future automation.
- Ensure a seamless employee experience by delivering timely and accurate support across key HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.
- Champion data integrity and quality, establishing and tracking service level agreements (SLAs) and acting as the final quality checkpoint for critical processes.
- This position operates in the EMEA/APAC shift to align with regional business needs.
- As hybrid colleague you would be visiting office 3 days a week.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in HR Shared Services / HR Operations with strong automation exposure .
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Microsoft Power Automate (mandatory)
- Power Apps (preferred)
- Power BI (data visualization & reporting)
- Strong understanding of:
- Workflow automation concepts (RPA, BPA)
- API integrations and connectors
- Data handling and transformation (Excel, SharePoint, Dataverse)
- Experience with HCM platforms (Workday / SuccessFactors) and their integration capabilities.
- Proven track record of:
- Automating complex business processes
- Reducing manual effort and improving accuracy through technology
- Familiarity with:
- AI tools (AI Builder, Copilot, or similar)
- Process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
