Position Summary:

Cohesive seeks a strong functional and technical consultant with experience of implementing Asset Reliability and Performance monitoring technology for Plant/Comprehensive Assets owners. You have good understanding of maintenance strategies and programs and will be supporting clients to improve reliability of their assets through your knowledge of maintenance and asset management best practices.


Your Day-to-Day:

  • Assist the Project Manager/Technical Lead in developing and managing the detailed project plan for implementing the Bentley APM software
  • Facilitate APM business process task mapping and roles & responsibilities assignment for the user site and map across the corporate structure where necessary
  • Work with the user to develop roles and responsibilities skills matrix and coordinate all resulting training plans, schedules and resources with the user
  • Advise users on how to leverage Bentley APM and other software to implement maintenance best practices and continually improve the maintenance function
  • Based on the business processes, support Technical Lead in facilitation of Detailed Solution Design sessions with the users to define how APM should be configured to support the process
  • Implement the user’s defined reliability maintenance practices in the Bentley APM Software, including developing foundation settings, naming conventions, configurations, etc.
  • Co-develop functional specifications for interfaces, extensions, and conversions
  • Train the user how to use the APM software and the mobile and remote inspection tools
  • Train the user on how to administer the APM application, including defining users, security profiles, etc.
  • Train users in adoption of maintenance best practices leveraging Bentley APM and CMMS software, and contribute to the ongoing development of best practices within the Bentley Asset Performance Management Methodology
  • Assist the user in using Bentley APM software to implement proactive maintenance programs.
  • Develop and implement leading Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and dashboards to measure adherence to the maintenance business processes and lagging KPI’s to measure tangible business results.
  • Work along with a variety of job positions from shop floor to senior executives.
  • Deliver the following standard Bentley APM courses:
    • APM Introduction
    • APM Implementer
    • APM Risk Based Inspections
    • APM Current Practice Review
    • Generic Planning & Scheduling
    • APM Application Administrator
  • Travel the India/SEA region (where permissible) and deliver technical consulting work as required


What You Bring to The Team:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in implementing enterprise software in a commercial or industrial site
  • Involvement in multiple CMMS and EAM software implementations, SAP and Maximo strongly preferred
  • Desirable, but not essential…
    • Previous consulting experience
    • Experience with work identification tools including RCM, FMEA, or RCA
    • Experience with using Risk Based Inspection techniques to develop maintenance programs for static equipment
    • Experience in predictive maintenance and/or condition monitoring tools
    • Experience with Work Management and Asset Life-Cycle Management
    • Experience with analytical tools such as Weibull Analysis
    • Predictive Maintenance Application experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Must be willing to travel regionally over 50%.




  • University degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional or a comparable designation is desirable, but not mandatory
