This role provides a good balance between management and technical tasks. This is for someone that like security and understand the technical aspect of security vulnerability but that like teamwork and communicate well. It can be a good way to start in the security field and learn about many security vulnerabilities types and many technologies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Bug Bounty and CVE Program Management
    • Confirm vulnerability or work with the AppSec team’s pentesters or security champions to validate it
    • Propose remediations for the issue or work with appropriate people to find a solution
    • Keep track of the open issues and ensure they are fixed in a timely fashion
    • Coordinate with the responsible teams
    • Help perform or coordinate post-mortem and forensic effort
  • Security Audit (Pentesting or Red Teaming) Program Management
    • Plan and coordinate the security audit projects 
    • Work with the product teams to define appropriate scope for security audit
    • Manage and coordinate the external requests coming to the team 
  • Other tasks
    • Plan and coordinate non-development projects in the team 
    • Create training materials (e.g. blog post) and train colleagues on security topics 
    • Attack and defend products (cloud, server, desktop, mobile, etc.)
    • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities
    • Help colleagues in software development to prevent security vulnerability
    • Develop automations and internal tools to support the team goals

 

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in computer science or software engineering
  • Very organized person
  • Discrete (ability to protect confidential information), proactive, curious and hacker mindset
  • Strong problem solver using various technologies
  • Web and web services security knowledge (REST, SOAP, etc.)
  • Microsoft, Visual Studio and Azure DevOps knowledge
  • C#, .Net and C++ knowledge
  • OWASP Top10 or SANS Top 25 knowledge
  • Cloud and Azure knowledge
