Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the migration of ADINA's legacy technical documentation from PDF format to Bentley's modern DITA/Oxygen documentation platform. In addition to document conversion, the intern will assist with enhancing and expanding documentation for ADINA's API libraries. This role offers hands-on experience working with highly technical engineering content and modern documentation tools, and is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive, and passionate about learning new technologies while working with complex technical material.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Migration

Convert ADINA's legacy PDF documentation into structured content using the DITA/Oxygen platform

Ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and consistency while migrating highly technical engineering material

Apply documentation best practices within the DITA framework
Content Development & Enhancement

Assist in creating and improving documentation for ADINA's API libraries

Collaborate with team members to understand content structure and documentation standards

Maintain quality and consistency across all documentation deliverables
Qualifications
Required
-
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field

Strong attention to detail and written communication skills

Willingness to learn new tools and technologies (DITA/Oxygen experience not required)

Ability to work with complex technical material

Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as within a team
Preferred

Background in structural engineering or finite element analysis
