Security Communication Specialist
Location: Remote, US – East Coast Preferred
Responsibilities:
- Document Bentley’s Information security and Cyber security posture in detail and articulate how it aligns with potential/existing customer requirements and continually track any gaps when it doesn’t.
- Provide input and recommendations on Information security and Cyber security requirements from contractual, compliance, or government sources and be able to identify concerns for escalation and remediation.
- Participate in transactional discussions/emails with customers on Information security and Cyber security requirements.
- Maintain and have input on externally facing documentation (web based) detailing Bentley’s Security Posture.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- In depth understanding of current Information security and Cyber security technologies including capabilities, strengths, and challenges (a Security Posture).
- An ability to communicate clearly on Information security/Cyber security topics at length. This includes verbal and written communications with both internal and external parties and understanding how those audiences require different kinds of communication.
- 5 years of experience in the Information security/Cyber security space including industry standard compliance programs such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, and SOC2.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
- This role does not require travel.
