As part of the Bentley Sales Communications and Enablement Team and reporting to the Director, Sales Communications & Enablement, the Sales Enablement Project Manager will support the development and delivery of world-class sales education and enablement offerings through traditional project management practices.


The position is an internal-facing role that serves as a central point of contact for enablement and communications-focused projects. They will work closely with members of Sales Communications and Enablement team, Product Advancement, User Success, Commercial Programs, and other applicable groups to manage projects of varying scope.



  • Contribute to the continued use and improvement of Sales Communications and Enablement programs. Manage coordination between technical / subject matter experts, Account Advancement leads, Product teams, Sales Operations, and senior management drive forward the development of enablement programs.
  • Ensure the core set of project practices are followed, with some additional and more detailed practices being used for strategic projects.
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel using the tools and processes available, including managing, and tracking project tasks in alignment with stated project requirements and goals.
  • Work effectively with international and diverse project teams participating from multiple locations.
  • Hold a kick-off meeting for all strategic projects, and potentially for smaller projects as appropriate.
  • Facilitate team participation in defining and documenting project requirements, goals, deliverables, and success measurements.
  • Report on project progress in a manner that is measurable, working with the project team to develop a high-level phase or milestone schedule including a minimum of design, development, review, and implementation.
  • Track project issues, and the resolution of those issues and obstacles, to ensure that each are addressed and allow project progress to continue.
  • Stakeholder management as dictated by Bentley’s project methodology to identify, assess, and manage stakeholder relationships and communication.
  • Report on obstacles or issues that represent a risk to project success, including escalation when a project has gotten off schedule or expanded beyond the agreed upon scope, while working with the team and proposing a solution to Sales Communications and Enablement management as appropriate.
  • Review and record lessons-learned for all strategic projects.
  • Provide regular project status updates for all levels of management.



  • Formal Education – Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field
  • High proficiency in Windows and Windows Office applications (including Microsoft Project and SharePoint) and comfortable learning new technologies and tools.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to work and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including c-level executives.
  • Ability to see the big picture, ask questions, and gather and organize information to understand and help manage varied topics of differing levels of importance.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills, possessing diplomacy and business judgment.
  • 4+ years project management experience
  • Experience with virtual project teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term associations based on trust
  • Certifications in project management, such as the PMP certification is desired
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
