The Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating digital content in the form of videos, images, graphics, diagrams to be used for presentations, website, and communications. We’re uniquely positioned as we work at the intersection of computer graphics and 3D geospatial, with visual storytelling at the core of our messaging. In this role, the content you create will help advance messaging and storytelling as part of our blogs, events, marketing content, presentations, and other mediums. You will also be working with Cesium’s massive global scale high-resolution 3D content and runtime engines, making the entire world your playground.
What you’ll do:
- You will work develop and build content in the form of videos and images, diagrams, logos, and other video and graphics to grow the Bentley and Cesium brand and ecosystem.
- Create, capture, produce, and edit cinematic videos using Cesium’s 3D engines including scene setup, camera, and lighting, and create compelling scenes paying close attention to pacing, camera work, sense of motion, action, and atmosphere as we closely replicate the real world as a digital twin.
- Iterate over production and editing while gathering feedback from stakeholders.
- Create graphics assets to maintain and strengthen the production value of our video and graphics content as well as help advance visual style, themes, and brand identity.
- Be a valuable contributor in all stages of creative production: from brainstorming and planning, to executing first class digital content.
- Create content for in-person events such as conferences and exhibitions.
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of experience with video and graphic production and editing, with background in games, animation, advertising, media, or broadcast preferred.
- Expertise with Adobe After Effects is required.
- Expertise with video production and editing software - Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, or similar tools.
- Expertise with graphics production and editing software - Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- An excellent understanding of cinematography, editing, timing, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with content creation using 3D engines and software. Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity, and comfortability working to capture cinematic game footage is a plus.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks, and to take direction and incorporate feedback, and balance quality and efficiency while working under tight deadlines, including ability to work independently with little direction when needed.
- You likely have a digital media-related education such as an undergrad degree in video production, graphics design, or equivalent experience.
