MicroStation/Reality Modeling Consultant

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our Americas Success Services team as a MicroStation/Reality modeling Consultant.  A Consultant plays an important role in collaborating, discovery, delivering consulting, configuration and training services and is responsible for analyzing our software users’ business and technical requirements to develop solutions that meet those needs. The Consultant will be the primary contact between Bentley and the users of MicroStation and iTwin Capture. Our users look to the consultant for timely answers and leadership on the product usage.

Location:  Virtually Connected in US and Canada

Your Day-to-Day & Responsibilities:

• Deliver consulting, configuration, and training services on Bentley’s iTwin capture application and MicroStation to existing and new software users.

• Technically support the wider Bentley team with benefit oriented, user specific issues that are raised by MicroStation/iTwin Capture users in various industries. 

• Provide support and services for migration of our software users to the latest version of MicroStation CONNECT Edition

• Assist in preparation of technical proposals and benchmarks.

• Perform software product training activities, project assessments, reviews, and audits.  

• Collaborate with product development groups to continually improve the quality of the product based on user input.

• Serve as the primary liaison between company and software users.

• Develop and conduct technical presentations.

• Create learning content in the form of written documentation, videos and webinars.

What You Bring to The Team & Qualifications:

• Technical degree in Engineering, Architecture or closely related degree required.

• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in drafting and design is required.

• Knowledge of industry standards, photogrammetry, and best practices.

• Thorough experience with Configurations and CAD Standards setup.

• Ability to understand and communicate Engineering terminology, methods, and practices.

• The ability to travel approximately 25% of the time is required.

• Experience with Bentley iTwin Capture and MicroStation is required.  Experience with other related industry design and CADD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) is beneficial. 

• Experience configuring and maintaining Bentley application Configurations, WorkSpaces and WorkSets deployed to an enterprise.

• Fluency in English is essential.  Ability to speak French or Spanish is beneficial but not required.

• Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.

• Ability to learn and effectively demonstrate, configure, and consult on the Bentley MicroStation software and iTwin capture.

• Thorough experience with Configurations and CAD Standards setup.

• Ability to work on significant professional services projects with little supervision and lead others when needed.

• Knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise with MicroStation Integration is very desirable.
