Recruited on permanent contracts from day 1, you will discover all our Software Development teams based in France thanks to six-month rotation periods in very different fields of application (image processing, cloud computing, 3D rendering, Cloud, Machine Learning, Deep learning, numerical analysis, finite element method, ...).

 

After 2 years, you will choose in which team to pursue your career!

 

In France, our Software Development teams mainly work in 4- Infrastructures & Civil Engineering (Open Roads, Rails, Bridges, Sites ...): help in the design, construction and operation of civil infrastructures areas:

- Reality Modeling (Acute3D): create high resolution 3D models from simple photos.

- Visualization (E-on Software: View, PlantFactory, CloudFactory, ...): create virtual landscapes with a natural rendering for cinema, video games, architecture software, ...

- Analytical calculation (AutoPIPE Vessel): helping to precisely design pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and air coolers.

- Infrastructures & Civil Engineering (Open Roads, Rails, Bridges, Sites ...): helping design, construction and operation of civil infrastructures

 

Job Responsabilities

Technologies and Languages that will be used will depend a lot on the team and the area of ​​activity during the rotation. Nevertheless, the main tasks of an On-Boarder will be:

  • Analyzing, designing, and implementing features for new or existing software products.  
  • Investigating and resolving defects.  
  • Participating in all software development life-cycle related activities.
  • Active participation in team-building events

 

What does it take to be an On-Boarder?

You just obtained a Degree in computer science or engineering (min bac+5) and you want to discover different areas in Software Development. You are not afraid of change and you are looking for the right stepping stone to start your career in Software Development!

 

To succeed on On-Boarder missions, you must have:

  • General technical knowledge in development methodologies, design and implementation of highly extensible software framework.  
  • General analytical and design skills at single product/single environment level. General skills in research, project planning and implementation.  
  • General understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.  
  • Good interpersonal skills: team spirit, written and oral communication... Great sense of humor can also be an asset for integration!

Given the international dimension of Bentley, fluency in English (spoken and written) is preferable.
