Director, Global Pricing Strategy

Position Summary:


Bentley is seeking a Director of Global Pricing Strategy to help formulate innovative pricing and packaging approaches that will drive growth and profitability across its portfolio of infrastructure engineering software. As part of the product strategy team, your primary objective will be to help product executives unlock more value and maximize business potential through the design of offerings, tiers, bundles, and pricing frameworks. The position will work closely with the Chief Product Officer and report to the VP Product Strategy.


Your Day-to-Day:


  • Design, implement, and execute revenue-maximizing pricing frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with executives in the product, sales, user success, and finance organizations to shape offerings, optimize packaging of capabilities, and drive monetization.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of product usage patterns, and model hypotheses and scenarios to understand the range of outcomes.
  • Research competitive offerings and understand details of pricing architectures and price points.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of management.
  • Develop methods to monitor progress of pricing effectiveness across industry sectors and sales regions.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to continuously innovate pricing approaches to take advantage of market opportunities.
  • Provide guidance to product management teams and enable them to master pricing approaches.
  • Influence the product roadmap and create clarity and certainty about pricing.


What You Bring to The Team:


  • MBA, or Master’s in data science or advanced statistics.
  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise software businesses deploying SaaS pricing programs.
  • 2+ years with a top-tier consulting firm with direct experience of SaaS pricing programs for enterprise software businesses.
  • Financial modeling and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated analytical rigor.
  • Ability to work independently, on multiple high impact projects simultaneously.
  • Well-honed communication and influencing skills, and a facility to work with C-level and senior executives across cultures.
  • Self-assurance to challenge and be challenged, comfortable both leading and supporting.
  • A growth mindset and entrepreneurial outlook.
