Position Summary:
Bentley Systems is seeking a driven and dynamic Account Manager (Mid-Market) – German Speaker to expand our footprint across smaller yet strategic accounts and uncover new high-value opportunities.
In this role, you will engage with infrastructure owners and operators, Tier 1 contractors, and consultants involved in delivering major infrastructure projects throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Responsibilities:
- Build and strengthen relationships across multiple levels, including C-level executives, within assigned accounts, industries, or territories.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial interactions with your accounts.
- Define sales strategies and articulate compelling value propositions.
- Negotiate and implement approved contracts.
- Develop tailored Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, account plans, and prospecting initiatives to consistently exceed annual revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams at Bentley to ensure alignment and collective success.
- Apply Gap Selling methodologies to uncover opportunities, maximize value for users and prospects, and accelerate growth.
- Proactively develop proposals to advance the adoption and value recognition of Digital Twins.
- Manage the full sales pipeline and deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Bentley’s solutions and services, as well as industry-specific workflows, business drivers, and key market players.
- Document all activities in line with the Bentley Sales Process (BSP) within the CRM system.
- Represent Bentley at national and regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in German (C2 or higher) and English; additional languages are an advantage.
- 3-7 years’ experience in enterprise-level sales of technical or enterprise software, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience/training.
- Proven experience working with government organizations is a plus.
- Background in selling infrastructure software solutions (e.g., CAD, CDE) or a deep understanding of the European infrastructure market is highly desirable.
- Experience with Bentley solutions or competitive equivalents is a strong advantage.
