Position Summary:
As part of the Bentley Account Advancement Group Communications team, and reporting to the Director, AAG Communications, the Regional Communications Manager participates in the development and delivery of communications strategies and projects designed to keep all members of the Account Advancement (AA) group informed and aware of initiatives that impact the organization’s goals and overall business mission. This role is an individual contributor role responsible for unifying and streamlining all revenue-driving enablement efforts and communications in an assigned region.
This colleague supports efforts to build and execute the required communication plan(s) to AA colleagues and related departments (inclusive of format, method, and cadence). As a primary focus, this role enhances the effectiveness and productivity of Bentley quota carriers, intelligently using Bentley’s communications channels and tools. This role will focus on AAG team-specific internal communications efforts in an the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically align with regional team leaders, including, but not limited to, AAG Executives, Chiefs of Staff, Regional Enablement, Enterprise Account Teams, Solution Engineering and Services, and Marketing to plan and manage communications impacting their assigned region, including, but not limited to the development and facilitation of quarterly all-hands, executive communications, on-ramping, support for in-person events in-region, etc.
- Routinely and proactively partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to develop and foster relationships, to successfully design and execute communication plans in support of regional-centric and varied initiatives.
- Develop, draft, and distribute content across multiple internal channels including Teams, SharePoint, email, video and audio conferencing, and in-person meetings.
- Align with global efforts to reinforce and amplify information impacting revenue-driving colleagues within their assigned region that foster and support the overall missions of Bentley and the Account Advancement Group.
- Participate in the maintenance of an AAG-specific SharePoint utilized by revenue-driving colleagues to access regional-specific resources.
- Manage the execution of virtual events/meetings of varying size occurring in the assigned region including, but not limited to, invite distribution, pre/post email communications, Q&A management, MC duties, etc.
- Partner with Events Manager, AAG and other stakeholders to provide necessary communications support for select in-region events. As needed, and when travel permits, provide in-person communications support for events occurring in regional office(s).
- As needed, support communications for ongoing enablement efforts and experiences in the assigned region.
- Ensure region-specific communications activities are captured in the AAG Communications tracking/calendaring efforts.
- Promote and support the use of consistent, on-brand messaging in all internal communications.
- Routinely update and audit select Outlook distribution lists and regional-specific SharePoint.
- Foster a culture of “One Bentley” and collaborating with internal stakeholders in a manner that benefits our accounts.
Travel to other Bentley locations may required on occasion.
This is a full-time individual contributor role, which involves significant collaboration and coordination with peers, leadership, and other colleagues. Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer.
Qualification:
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or closely related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 5-10 years of corporate work experience focused on internal communications, engagement, and employee experience, preferably with a technology/software company.
- Extremely effective communicator with exceptional English writing and public-speaking skills; capable of interacting with colleagues at every level and across every business line, enhancing process engagement from stakeholders
- Ability to develop and nurture trusting relationships with cross-functional teams and colleagues at various levels.
- Ability to provide a high-level of customer service to internal stakeholders; including the ability to professionally re-position (or deny) requests for communication.
- Ability to see the big picture, ask questions, and gather and organize information to understand and communicate on varied topics of differing levels of importance.
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet quick deadlines; Ability to adjust and adapt based on shifting priorities
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; SharePoint. Comfortable learning new technologies and tools.
- Strong, authentic written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience supporting revenue-driving colleagues preferred.
- Organized, reliable self-starter with strong project management and interpersonal skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset, you seek to proactively problem-solve and propose solutions using data to drive decision-making.
