Position Summary:
Are you passionate about transforming raw data into strategic assets? We are seeking a Product Manager of Data Experience to be at the forefront of our data transformation. You will be the crucial link between business ambition and data-driven reality, ensuring that data is our most powerful tool for success.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap

Develop, own, and shape the data product roadmap and backlog, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and stakeholder needs across Bentley's business units.

Drive the strategy for connecting data across business processes, including the integration of data from various enterprise source systems.

Monitor industry trends and blend best practices in data and product development to keep Bentley at the cutting edge.
Stakeholder Partnership & Communication

Act as the primary data partner for leaders and stakeholders across various business units, deeply understanding their processes, challenges, and analytical needs.

Translate complex business questions, user needs, and business requirements into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, and data product plans.

Facilitate communication between technical (e.g., data engineering, business intelligence) and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of our data products and strategies.
Product Lifecycle & Impact Measurement

Manage the data product lifecycle—from ideation, planning, and discovery to development, launch, and continuous improvement.

Coordinate efforts to drive projects to completion, guiding the creation and refinement of data products.

Define and monitor success metrics for data products, demonstrating their value and impact on business outcomes.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Economics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably with a focus on data, analytics, or internal business applications.

Strong understanding of enterprise data, analytics, and product management principles.

Demonstrated experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.

Excellent ability to translate business needs into technical specifications for data engineers and analysts.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and articulate a clear product vision to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Hands-on experience with core enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday) is highly preferred.

Proficiency in SQL for data exploration and analysis is a strong plus.

Familiarity with modern data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake) and BI (e.g., Power BI) platforms.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
