Position Summary:


An exciting opportunity to join our top consulting team to support a market-leading technology and train to become an expert practitioner in the deployment of Progressive Assurance – fast becoming the de facto approach for managing assurance on major infrastructure projects internationally.


Your Day-to-Day:


Initially focused on ComplyPro ‘configuration management’ as a core discipline, over time you will develop your skills and experience to cover all aspects of ComplyPro project implementation leading to the opportunity to be engaged on major infrastructure projects around the world. We are currently working on opportunities in the Middle East, Canada, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Australia as well as the UK and Europe.

The role will also expose you to other key Bentley solutions including ProjectWise (Digital Collaboration) and BC ( the opportunity to extend your skills in these areas.

The initial period of your tenure will be focused on the configuration and deployment aspects of ComplyPro. A ComplyPro deployment requires the detailed scoping, configuration and implementation of the solution to the client’s requirements, including:


  • ComplyPro configuration
  • Process management and workflow capture and documentation
  • Detailed scoping and documentation
  • Process and product training
  • Implementation management and stakeholder liaison/management
  • Product advocacy


Over time your responsibilities will extend to include more organisational and project management aspects of deploying ComplyPro.


What You Bring to The Team:


Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering or computer science-related subject preferable.


This role would be ideal for an engineering or computer science graduate whose aspirations are to gravitate towards a technical management or project management career. Initially developing the necessary technical skills and knowledge to become an ‘expert’ ComplyPro consultant, the role will develop to include more organisational and project management skills including:

  • Project Management
  • Planning of technical solutions
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Organising project logistics
  • Preparing documentation


Bentley consultants have strong interpersonal and time management skills and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have the following abilities:

  • Communication skills – our consultants work with a broad cross-section of stakeholders within projects, which include attending meetings to discuss progress, provide ideas, and identify processes that need to be improved. Strong communication skills are a must to fulfil these duties


  • Organisational skills – Bentley consultants work to strict deadlines and often on several projects at a time. Strong organisational skills are required to ensure that every task is completed by the correct deadline


  • Software design and programming knowledge – The configuration of ComplyPro solutions requires the use of functional programming language and an experience or strong interest in software design and programming will be an advantage.


  • Writing skills – consultants conduct research to obtain project data and to detail the specifications for a project that is written into concise reports. For this aspect of the role, applicants need strong technical writing abilities


  • Time management – consultants must not only manage their own time effectively, but they must also monitor others’ time to keep projects on schedule

Bentley ComplyPro – Progressive Assurance:


Bentley ComplyPro is a collaborative progressive assurance system that provides the framework to support systems engineering and assurance principles, processes and best practices on major rail infrastructure projects - combining many systems engineering related activities in a common integrated environment, providing unprecedented visibility of overall project assurance progress.


Following the success in uptake of ComplyPro internationally we are looking for a graduate engineer to join the ComplyPro team to develop the skills required to configure and deploy ComplyPro on major projects around the world. Based in our central London offices, you will initially work closely with our lead ComplyPro configuration specialist to develop the necessary skills and expertise.
