Your Day-to-Day
- Support Bentley’s Account Managers (AM) and their clients throughout the sales process.
- Perform pre-sales activities including customer presentations and technical product demonstrations for Bentley Infrastructure IoT connectivity devices, cloud and on-premises software solutions, and related support services.
- Perform technical sales, marketing and evangelizing of Bentley Infrastructure IoT technology, products, and solutions as they apply to existing and new customer accounts.
- Educate assigned customers as to the benefits of automated condition monitoring of assets.
- Drive sales objectives in tandem with AMs, taking responsibility for sales objectives related to Infrastructure IoT products within your assigned region.
- Enable increased recurring subscription revenue on each assigned account by increasing adoption within the client organization, and up selling additional IoT products and features as they are made available.
- Strategically pursue and develop new customers and business opportunities (we are looking for Hunters) across your assigned region
- Must be able to manage and interpret customer/owner requirements in the RFQ/RFP stages and provide technical sales guidance based on customer needs.
- Must be able to effectively champion customer requirements internally with product and support teams.
- The Sales Territory will be EMEA
What You Bring to The Team
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental, or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience
- Experience and existing client network within the following industries a plus; Civil Structural Works, including Dams, Bridges, Tunnels, Buildings, Construction, Mining, etc
- 5+ years of direct experience with instrumentation and automation of geospatial, geotechnical, environmental and/or process sensors.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a high attention to detail
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of technical experience
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of sales experience
- This individual will be interfacing with customers and serve as the liaison between first-hand application experience and the engineering team
- Must be able to mobilize quickly to capitalize on new opportunities that may arise.
- Experience with selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Enterprise solutions, and/or other recurring revenue based products is a plus.
