Position Summary:

To identify, maximize and close business development opportunities within the UK Water/Waste Water Utilities market, specifically focusing on promoting the sale of the Bentley Asset Management solutions, services, training and subscriptions. Enabling these organizations to effectively address the key Ofwat (Water Regulator) recommendations, which include securing cost efficiencies for the next Asset Management Period (AMP). Ensuring that Bentley Asset Management solutions are recognized as best in class, resulting in significant growth for Bentley within this key UK market sector.

 

Working Conditions:

Extensive travel throughout UK & Ireland will be required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategies and plans specific to the assigned industry segment and region that will ensure accomplishment of the sales revenue goals.
  • Apply and execute the Bentley Sales Process to achieve sales objectives.
  • Establish sales implementation plans for assigned user base, including full documentation within the CRM system.
  • Develop close effective relationships, coordinates sales plans, and promote sales strategies with users, selected partners in the assigned industry segment and region.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with appropriate corporate marketing, product advancement and operational advancement teams.
  • As part of the sales team, work collaboratively with other members of the team to establish campaigns and strategies.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of market and product knowledge, specifically regarding the Bentley Asset Management solution offerings.
  • Be recognized within the UK Water Utilities market as a key strategic advisor regarding the value of having a strong effective Asset Management strategy.

 

 

Requirements

  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or to a comparable educational standard in a specialization relative to this role.
  • 3 years’ experience is required with demonstrable achievement in strategic selling, specifically with a strong track record of Asset Management Enterprise sales success.
  • A successful track record of selling software, or technical products or services.
  • Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.
