Position Summary:

Our Product Sales Team is seeking a self-motivated German and English speaker to serve as a Product Sales Consultant who will identify, maximize, and close opportunities in Central Europe. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, quota-driven, sales environment which is focusing in net new business for Bentley. The person will see him/herself as a hunter and has strong experience in competitive sales campaigns. Your role will be to drive an expansion in Bentleys market share for Design Modeling and Reality Modeling solutions in DACH. 


  • Identify, maximize and close opportunities with a strong focus in new business
  • Create and execute competitive sales campaigns within your territory that are vital for your revenue goal
  • Develop, manage and forecast sales strategies specific to achieve sales revenue goals
  • Apply and execute the Bentley Sales Process
  • Respond to leads/prospects
  • Prospect in your assigned territory using various media (including existing contacts in the CRM System, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Global Data Construction Intelligence Center, outbound calling, engaging in related public events such as trade shows, face to face meetings etc.)
  • Providing of webinars or presentations to prospects for selected products and offers
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with appropriate corporate marketing, product advancement and operational advancement teams
  • Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge about our products and commercial programs
  • Monitor relevant market developments and use them to generate new business
  • Contribute to business development in specific submarkets

What You Bring to The Team:

  • A passion for technology and helping professionals achieve their ultimate business goals
  • 3 years’ experience in a sales engineering position in preferably Building Design or Reality Modelling
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or related industry experience in the AEC Industry
  • Experience in Competitive Sales Campaigns
  • Ideally you are aware of the markets other major Modelling solutions including offerings from AutoDesk, Nemetschek or VectorWorks etc.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information to prospects via phone, web and onsite sales engagements
  • A successful track record of selling software, or technical products or services
  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Strong Business German and English language skill
  • You should have the ability and willingness to travel for; Face to Face meetings, conferences or other business-related meetings
