DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Remote - Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Italy or Czech Republic

Position Summary:

The candidate will be part of a dedicated security team (AppSec) at Bentley Systems. The product security team’s main responsibility is the security of software created by Bentley. This includes a wide variety of technologies: C#, Typescript, Node.js, single-page applications, Electron applications, Azure cloud services, JavaScript web applications, and more. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn skills such as cloud, Agile, DevOps, etc., and will work as part of a multinational, diverse team of remotely placed experts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop CI/CD pipeline automation to improve the application security of Bentley's products
• Maintain sets of agents (VM, docker images, etc.) with security tools

• Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements, design and develop code, and unit test assets necessary to complete project objectives according to organization standards and guidelines
• Analyze requirements, come up with solutions
• Support the internal users of the system and answer their questions
• Perform other related duties

Required Skills:

• 0-5 years’ experience
• Proficient in Typescript, Powershell and C# development environments
• Ability to solve complex problems and adapt quickly

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s in computer science, software engineering or related field
• Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodology
• Prior exposure to Cloud Computing, Azure development/deployment, and Security Testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation
• Knowledge of application security topics (scanners, OWASP Top 10, etc.)
