Accounting Assistant (Entry Level)

Location: Romania (Office, Remote or Hybrid)

Position Summary:

We are recruiting an Accountant Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. The Accounting Assistant is the key person in global cash allocation for Bentley and is part of the global Cash Allocation team. This role does not require travel.

Your Day-to-Day:

• You will be part of an international team with colleagues in USA, Europe, and India
• You process bank statements for Bentley Systems globally, allocating incoming and outgoing payments to the correct accounts
• Good understanding different types of payments and GL & Bank Statement Reconciliation
• Constantly collaborate with all departments involved in requesting missing information regarding unidentified payments from the bank statement
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.

What You Bring to The Team:

• Batchelor’s degree in Economics, Business or Accounting is a plus
• Experience with finance system SAP represents an advantage
• Good knowledge of English, verbally and in writing
• Has a hands-on, can-do mentality
• Team oriented, enthusiastic, and flexible
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
