Accounts Payable Associate

Location: The Netherlands

Work mode: Hybrid min. twice per week from our Hoofddorp office

Position Summary:

As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be part of our international accounts payable team, working with colleagues from across the globe. Your main responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, while providing support to both internal stakeholders and external partners. This includes resolving queries, preparing weekly payments, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. You will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing of all vendor invoices.
• Verify that all transactions comply with internal policies and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice and purchase order processing.
• Reconcile and monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Provide excellent customer service to vendors and internal colleagues.
• Prepare and process weekly payment proposals.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Up to two years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum MBO level or equivalent education.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on, proactive approach while maintaining awareness of the bigger picture.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding environment.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
